Which Sabbia Co Serum is the One for Me?

Which Sabbia Co Serum is the One for Me? - Sabbia Co

Since launching our brightening niacinamide serum’s launch, one of our most common questions that we’ve received is:

“Which serum should I use for my skin?” & “Should I get the collagen c serum or the brightening niacinamide serum?”

Today, I’m going to answer those questions for you.

There is no denying, both serums are worthy of standing on a winner’s podium solo. Katie has carefully formulated them to be incredible serums and target a myriad of skin concerns. But, I must say, when used together, that’s when some next-level magic happens.

As you may have seen in our previous blog, ‘Why Niacinamide is a skincare MUST-HAVE’, niacinamide works in harmony with other ingredients and does an incredible job at boosting the effectiveness of your other products. Meaning when used together, the collagen c serum and brightening niacinamide serum work as a brightening, breakout control, and hydration powerhouse. So we truly believe in incorporating both products into your skincare routine so that you can reap the benefits of both.

How we recommend layering your products:

As you can see above, we recommend using the two serum consecutively, collagen c serum, followed shortly by the brightening niacinamide serum.

The reason we recommend applying the collagen c serum first is because of the functions of hyaluronic acid (HA) and Vitamin C. Hyaluronic acid holds up to 1000 times its weight in water, and when applied to the skin it pulls in the moisture from the air around you and products applied after it. We formulate our collagen c serum with a low molecular hyaluronic acid, which means it penetrates much deeper into the skin and can often help other ingredients on your skin’s surface absorb more deeply too!

On top of this, vitamin c has the ability to penetrate the skin deeper than other topical ingredients. So by applying your collagen c serum first, you are setting your skin up for success, and giving your brightening niacinamide serum a piggyback (for lack of a better word) to your deeper layers of skin, making it significantly more effective.

When it comes to the skin we definitely want you to get the most out of your skincare, that is why we are such cheerleaders for this powerful duo.

If you’re dipping your toes into Sabbia Co skincare, and want to try out this dream team for yourself, check out our skincare samples.

However if you are looking to minimise your skincare routine or if you’re only looking for one serum right now, here are the different benefits of the two serums, and which skin types they may be best for.

If you ever have any other questions, don’t hesitate to jump over to our instagram and DM us, we’re always happy to answer your skincare questions!

Big Love Always,
