Ways to clear your mind

Ways to clear your mind

We all know that there are times in our busy lives when we need to be more focused, productive and effective. But how do we do it? How do we take a pause in the midst of our day and make time for something that’s just for us?

Wellness & self-love/care is so important to us here at Sabbia Co. We have come up with practical ways to clear your mind and press pause.

Take a few deep breaths

Exhaling slowly and deeply through your mouth while focusing on relaxing every part of your body as you do so (starting at your toes). This will help you focus on something positive rather than negative thoughts/emotions that may be plaguing your mind at the moment.

Go outside

Take a walk outside and look at the trees, flowers, and birds in your neighbourhood. This helps because it makes you feel more connected to nature and allows you to think about all the beauty that exists in the world.

Embrace your "me" time and do whatever energises you.

This can be having a self-pamper session at home, or getting your hair and nails done. Whatever is it, make sure you take that time for yourself.

Get Creative

Connect with what lights you up in a creative way. Focusing on the creative task that lights you up and not focusing on the outside noise. Creating new ideas, painting, drawing or scrapbooking. The list of creative outlets is endless but do a creative task that lights you up.

Declutter your mind and space so you can focus on what's important.

Clean and cleanse your space. Light a candle after, put your feet up and read a book. You feel relaxed and centred with no distractions or stress of tasks you need to complete.

There are many ways to clear your mind and reduce stress. I've listed a few ways to clear your mind. The true trick, of course, is incorporating these practices into your daily routine. Don't treat them as a luxury; make them part of your daily life. When you do that, you will have a clear mind and more time to do the things you need to do.

Lots of love,
Jess Marketing Coordinator here at Sabbia Co xx
