Mid year check in 💚

Mid-year self-care check in

It's mid-year, and you've probably already been working hard on your resolutions. But how are you doing with your self-care?

It's important not just to take care of others, but to take care of yourself as well. We all know that when we don't feel good about ourselves, it's harder to be our best selves—but it's not always easy to know what will make us feel better. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways you can practice self-care. Here are our ideas to check in with yourself and give yourself some self-care.

Here are some ideas:

-Take a few minutes every day to do something that makes you feel good about yourself. Whether it's wearing your favourite outfit or making time for meditation and journaling, just spend a little time each day doing what makes YOU feel good.

-Make sure you're eating healthy foods that fuel your body

- Stop worrying about perfectionism, no one is perfect. So stop putting yourself on a higher standard. Breathe and let the feeling go.

-Keep track of what you're doing and how well you're doing it. It is easy to get carried away with what we aren’t doing. I want you to write down everything amazing you are doing. I promise you will surprise yourself.

It's important to check in with yourself, so you can see how you're feeling and make sure you take some time for your own self care. It's easy to forget to take care of yourself when the year comes to an end, but it's always good to remember that you are a priority and that needs to be taken care of first and foremost. There might be a multitude of things we want to do in a day, but they aren't all of equal importance. But we can only do so much at one time so it's best to prioritise what needs to get done first. Some days you'll have more energy than others, and that's okay. It doesn't mean that you're a failure if you don't accomplish everything on your list anytime soon. If anything, that just means you need some time for yourself, so you can do your best the next time. You deserve it.

We are halfway, keep on going. You have got this x
